Satellite Radio Company:
IPO - $250 Million Nasdaq Listing

In 2005, the world’s leading international provider of satellite radio filed to go public. With a recently completed, oversubscribed private equity deal under its belt, management felt they had momentum leading into an IPO. Steve Yanor and his team were retained to work with the Company and its investment bank to help guide the Company through the IPO process. Working on site at the client’s headquarters and interfacing with all internal functions including finance, legal, and marketing we coached management, refined the investor presentation and investment highlights, wrote the speaker scripts for three members of management, and handled the branding and technical aspects of the group meetings in New York, Boston and San Francisco.

We also authored the company’s disclosure policy and IR website. As a growing international operation, the Company faced scrutiny from the international press during its quiet period and required clear guidance on how to handle the media. As an instant member among a select group of satellite radio content providers we also designed a peer-group leading investor presentation that would emphasize the Company’s brand and its connection in foreign markets.

At pricing, the deal was expanded and over-subscribed, contributing an additional $100 million in capital raised.
